Elwood man found dead in White River in Hamilton County
Elwood, Indiana – Dead body of Elwood man was found on Sunday in White River in Hamilton County police say.
According to the report, first responders arrived at the scene to the area of the White River and State Road 13 just after 8 p.m. on Sunday after a local kayaker reported dead in the river.
The victim was identified as 37-year-old Charles E. Bond and police believe the case is an accident. They say the man was probably jumping in the river from a homemade elevated platform and probably hit a object in water and didn’t surface.
The autopsy should reveal the cause of the death.
The case is under investigation and we will update the case when more details will be available.
